The Vinschgau and Merano.
Alpine mountains meet green valleys, urban lifestyle meets rural charm, Mediterranean enjoyment meets traditional cuisine, well-being meets experience. We present you Europe's highest Benedictine monastery, Marienberg, the Stelvio pass road - queen of the Alpine roads, the medieval town of Glurns, the white gold in the marble quarry of Lasa, the impressive Partschins waterfall, the spa town of Merano with its arcades and cafés, the peace and quiet of nature in the hiking area Hirzer, authentic dishes, the finest products and the finest wines.
Holiday in the Vinschgau cultural region near Latsch, at the entrance to the high alpine Martell Valley, at the foot of the Stelvio National Park and the Texelgruppe Nature Park, one of the most varied hiking areas and biking regions in the entire Alpine region stretches out with 315 days of sunshine. In winter, skiers ski in the neighboring ski areas, snowshoe hikers and ski tourers head to higher altitudes, while cross-country skiers and biathletes find their winter paradise in the rear Martell Valley. The cultural offerings in Latsch are extensive. Its historical sights range from the many castles and churches with their worth seeing frescoes, including the famous frescoes of the castle chapel of St. Stephan in Morter, to the architecturally outstanding, innovative national park center “Culturamartell”. The world-famous cities of Merano and Bolzano are also just a stone's throw away. Further information is available at: www.vinschgau.net and www.suedtirol.info.
The small 3 star hotel is located in the middle of Vinschgau, surrounded by mountains and apple orchards. An ideal starting point for bikers and hikers as forest paths, alpine hikes, summit tours and mountain trails start right in front of the house. The fine hotel has been continuously renovated and is therefore in very good structural condition and offers tasteful hotel rooms with sunny balconies and wonderful views of the mountains, a restaurant, an old farm parlor, a sunny winter garden, an indoor pool, an outdoor pool with a large lawn, terraces, a large private apartment and an underground car park. The own solar system produces all of the hot water.
The hotel has been well established for years and achieves very good occupancy with many satisfied regular guests. The hotel is currently open from April to the beginning of November and generates more than 5,600 overnight stays during this periode. Since the demand for “gentle winter tourism” is increasing, the new owners could of course also run the hotel successfully in winter. Important potential for increasing profits is the extension of the opening times and a possible structural expansion of 850 m³.
